Well, well, looks like there are a few more Democrats on the talk show circuit this week, but as usual, the Rs outnumber the Ds.
This Sunday’s television talk shows survey the nation’s political landscape from a state’s perspective with a gaggle of governors in Washington for the annual winter meeting of the National Governors Association.
Presidential rival Rick Santorum, the former Republican senator from Pennsylvania, headlines NBC’s “Meet the Press” and ABC’s “This Week.”
NBC also has California Gov. Jerry Brown, a Democrat, and Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer, a Republican. And ABC also has Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick, a co-chairman of President Barack Obama’s reelection campaign, and Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder, who has endorsed Romney ahead of Tuesday’s GOP primaries in Michigan and Arizona.
CNN’s “State of the Union” also interviews Walker and Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper, a Democrat, as well as Republican Sens. John McCain of Arizona and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and Robert Gibbs, the former White House press secretary who’s now advising the president’s reelection campaign.
CBS’s “Face the Nation” features New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, a Romney surrogate, and Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley, chairman of the Democratic Governors Association.
