ABC’s “This Week” will feature Rep. Tom Cole, R-Okla., Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., Republican strategist and ABC News political analyst and contributor Nicolle Wallace, and Obama 2012 deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter, debating the week’s politics. ABC News chief White House correspondent Jonathan Karl and ABC News chief global affairs correspondent Martha Raddatz will discuss the latest news stories.
NBC’s “Meet the Press” has House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) in to talk about the future of the Republican Party. Assistant Democratic Leader Dick Durbin (D-IL) will be discussing the drone policy. And Democratic Mayor of Atlanta Kasim Reed, former speechwriter for President George W. Bush and now columnist for the Washington Post Michael Gerson, GOP strategist Mike Murphy and the BBC’s Katty Kay will be at the roundtable discussing the upcoming State of the Union Address on Tuesday. NBC’s Michael Isikoff will also appear, and will be discussing the “white paper” on the use of drones against US citizens.
CBS’s “Face the Nation” has Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C. and Senator Jack Reed, D-R.I., discussing the drone issue (though I dare say Lindsey will probably be doing his best “my panties are in a wad” whining). Rep. Mike Rogers, the Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, will also be discussing drone policy.
CNN’s “State of the Union” will have Kentucky Republican Senator Rand Paul on for a prebuttal to the State of the Union Address (he’s giving the rebuttal too — guess he just has too much to say about it). He will also be discussing tensions between Karl Rove and the Tea Party. Independent Senator from Maine Angus King will be on to discuss drones and why he is in favor of them. The roundtable has Rep. Jan Schakowsky, Democrat from Illinois, Kay Bailey Hutchison, the former Republican Senator from Texas, Amy Walter, the national editor of the Cook Political Report, and CNN national political correspondent Jim Acosta discussing several political issues.
